Three-dimensional growth of human endothelial cells in an automated cell culture experiment container during the SpaceX CRS-8 ISS space mission- The SPHEROIDS project
3D-cell culture: human endothelia cells where sent to ISS in an automated cell culture experiment, to investigate the formation of three dimensional structures in micro gravity. Feeding of the cells with cell culture medium and fixation at the end of the experiment was done using a micro annular gear pump mzr-2921 of the low pressure series.
