In addition, we use cookies and analysis services when you visit our website. For further explanations, please refer to §§ 4 and 5 of this privacy policy.

2.2 When ordering services and products

If the processing of personal data is necessary to fulfil a contract you have entered into us such as for goods, service, or other or consideration, your data will be processed based on art. 6 I lit. b GDPR. This also applies to processing operations necessary before a contract is signed, such as responding to enquiries about our products or services.

If HNP Mikrosysteme is subject to a legal obligation requiring the processing of personal data, for example to fulfil tax obligations, the processing is based on art. 6 I lit. c GDPR.

2.4 When using our contact form

If you have any questions, we offer you the opportunity to contact us using the form provided on the website. A valid e-mail address is required so that we know who sent the request and can respond to it.

If you do not agree, you can at any time, without stating reasons, object to this processing. In the case of an objection, unfortunately, it is not possible for us to make contractual or pre-contractual initial business contacts.

2.6 Social Media

We maintain profiles with the social media providers Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram as well as with the video portal YouTube and use the technical platforms and services of the respective provider to display our content.

As the operator of the respective profile, we are jointly responsible with the operator of the social network within the meaning of Art. 4 No. 7 GDPR. When you visit our profile, personal data is processed by the controller. In the following, we will inform you about what data is involved, how it is processed and what rights you have in this regard.

We would like to point out that you use the website or smartphone app and its functions at your own risk. This applies in particular to the use of the interactive functions (e.g. commenting, sharing, rating, etc.). We may take your comments and ratings as an opportunity to respond to them with our own comments. For this purpose, we make use of our legitimate interest in interacting with active users of our profile (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

If you have questions of any kind, you have the option of contacting us via personal messages. Your username may be automatically communicated to us. Further information can be provided voluntarily, in particular options for contacting us outside the social network. Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR based on your voluntarily given consent. The personal data processed by us for the purpose of contacting you will be automatically deleted after your request has been dealt with, unless there are statutory retention obligations to the contrary (e.g. because a contractual relationship has been established between us on the basis of your request).

When you visit our profiles, the provider collects, among other things, your IP address and other information that is stored on your end device in the form of cookies. This information is used to provide us, as the operator of the social media profile, with statistical information about the use of the website.

The data collected about you in this context is processed by the respective provider and may be transferred to countries outside the European Union. What information the provider receives and how it is used is described by the provider in general terms in its data usage guidelines. There you will also find information on how to contact the provider and on the settings options for advertisements.

The way in which these providers use data from visits to the profiles for their own purposes, the extent to which activities on the websites are assigned to individual users, how long this data is stored and whether data is passed on to third parties is not conclusively and clearly explained by these providers and is not known to us. When you access our profiles, the IP address assigned to your end device is transmitted to the respective provider. It may be possible for the respective provider to assign IP addresses to individual users. If you are currently logged in to a social media provider as a user, a cookie with your identifier is stored on your device. This enables the provider to track that you have visited this page and how you have used it. If you want to avoid this, you should log out of the respective social media provider or deactivate the "stay logged in" function, delete the cookies on your device and close and restart your browser.

4    Cookies

If you give us your consent when you visit our website, we use so-called cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device when you visit our site. Cookies do not contain malware.

Information is stored in the cookie that results in each case in connection with the specifically used terminal device. However, this does not mean that we become aware of your identity.

The use of cookies serves on the one hand to make the use of our offer more pleasant for you. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These will be deleted automatically after leaving our site.

In addition, we also use temporary cookies that are stored on your end device for a specified period of time to optimize user-friendliness. 5    Analytics

5.1 Tracking tools

With the tracking measures used, we want to ensure that our website is designed to meet requirements and is continually optimized. On the other hand, we use the tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer. In particular, you may obtain information about the purposes of processing, the category of personal data, the identity of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to correction, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of appeal, the origin of your data, if this has not been collected by us, and requires the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, where appropriate, meaningful information about its detail;

7    Right of objection / Revocation of consents

If your personal data is processed based on legitimate interests in accordance with art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f GDPR, you have the right in accordance with art. 21 GDPR to object to the processing of your personal data if there are reasons for this which arise from your particular situation or if the objection is directed against direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which we will implement without specifying a particular situation.

If you wish to exercise your right of revocation or objection, simply send an email to  datenschutz@hnp-mikrosysteme.de.

8    Data security

We use the most common SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in connection with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. Usually this is a 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. Whether a single page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form is indicated by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the status bar of your browser.

We also use suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously updated according to technological developments.

9    Use of YouTube videos

This website uses the YouTube embedding function to display and play videos from the provider "YouTube", which is owned by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google").

Information on the use of our profile on YouTube and other social media providers can be found in section 2.6.

10    Use of Google Maps

On our website, we use Google Maps, a web service for the display of interactive (land) maps to visually display geographical information provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Using this service will show you our location and make it easier for you to find us.

Even when opening sub-pages which include the Google Maps map, information about your use of our website (such as your IP address) is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. This takes place regardless of whether Google makes available a user account via which you are logged in or no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your information will be directly associated with your account. If you do not wish to be associated with your profile on Google, you must log out before activating the button. Google saves your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them. An evaluation of this nature is carried out in particular in accordance with art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of Google's legitimate interest in the placement of personalised advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.
Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified for the US-European data protection agreement "Privacy Shield", which guarantees compliance with the data protection level applicable in the EU.
If you do not agree to the future transmission of your data to Google in the context of the use of Google Maps, it is also possible to completely deactivate the Google Maps web service by switching off the JavaScript application in your browser. In this case, Google Maps and hence the map display on this website cannot be used.
You can view Google's Terms of Use at http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/terms/regional.html; the additional Terms of Use for Google Maps can be found at https://www.google.com/intl/en/help/terms_maps.html.
Detailed information on data protection in connection with the use of Google Maps can be found on Google's website ("Google Privacy Policy"): http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/

11    Use of external fonts, functional and content elements

On our website we use functional and content elements that are obtained from the servers of the respective third-party providers. External fonts from Google Fonts are provided on the HNPM web server, so that no data is transmitted to Google. The integration of other Google services (assets), such as Google Tag Manager or Google Analytics is carried out by a server call, usually by a Google server in the USA. This transmits to the server which of our Internet pages you visited. The IP address of the browser of the end device of the visitor to this website is also stored by Google.

You can find more information in the data protection information of Google, which you can find here:

http://www.google.com/privacy/ads/

12    Data protection when applying for jobs

We collect and process the personal data of applicants for the purpose of handling your job application. Processing may also be carried out electronically. This is particularly the case if you send us corresponding application materials, for example, by email or via a web form on the website. If we hire you, the data transmitted during the application process will then be stored for the purpose of processing your employment relationship in compliance with the statutory provisions. If we do not hire you, your application documents will be automatically deleted six months after notification of this decision, unless you give us your consent to further storage, e.g. for inclusion in an applicant pool.
