HNP Mikrosysteme will participate in Flow Chemistry Europe (FCE) 2026, one of the leading events in the field of flow chemistry.
In addition to our micro annular gear pumps, we will present our Dynamic Micromixer, specifically developed for efficient mixing of very small volume flows.
Can dynamic micromixers improve mixing performance at low flow rates?
Unlike static micromixers, the mixing time can be adjusted independently of the flow rate. In addition to high mixing quality, key advantages over static mixers include a significantly reduced risk of clogging. This results in higher process efficiency and reduced material loss.
The dynamic micromixer opens up new possibilities for precise reaction control, particularly in low-flow applications in research, fine chemistry, and process development within flow chemistry.
As part of the Industrial Session, Dr. Carsten Damerau will give a short presentation titled “Dynamic Micromixer for Low Flow Rates” (April 17, 2026, 10:50–12:00).
The talk will cover the completed characterization of the mixer, including experimental results based on the 1st and 4th Bourne reactions as well as the Villermaux–Dushman method.
