As is so typical at the moment, we are also seeing the effects of the pandemic in our auditing processes. In February, the TÜV Süd monitoring audit took place online for the first time. The two-day review confirmed the successful application of our quality management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, even in the present situation.
One focus was on process adaptation in the context of the significant growth in digitalization within the company. "We have introduced many new tools, for example for internal communication, and are planning to introduce a document management system," says Steffen Edler, Quality Management Representative, adding, "This will enable us to make our processes more effective and secure, especially in regard to the many employees working at home."
As an important supplier in the medical industry, HNPM is actively involved in the fight against the pandemic. "The world is changing, we as an innovative company want to be part of it," adds Edler.
