The helm of HNP Mikrosysteme GmbH is now in the hands of Dr. Matthias Jahncke. He takes over from longtime CEO Dr. Thomas Weisener, who is entering a well-deserved retirement.
Together with Dr. Gerald Vögele, Dr. Weisener developed the company from a start-up into an internationally recognized market leader in micropump technology. As of August 1, 2025, Dr. Jahncke has assumed sole responsibility for the company’s management.
He had already been part of the executive leadership since November 2024. With many years of leadership experience in mechanical engineering, Dr. Jahncke is well acquainted with the demands of technology-driven markets. Early in his career, he established an innovation incubator in Leipzig—an initiative that strongly reinforced his passion for technical innovation.
This transition at the top marks not only a formal handover, but also a clear commitment to continued innovation and growth. “HNP Mikrosysteme is one of the most exciting companies in Northern Germany—technologically leading, internationally positioned, and at the same time deeply rooted in the region,” says Jahncke.
