The VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau - German Engineering Federation) is a network of around 3,000 engineering industry companies in Europe. We are a member of the sectors Electronics, Micro and Nano Technologies and Pumps+Systems.
SPECTARIS is the German industry association for the high-tech medium-sized business sector and representative body in the areas of medical technology, optical technologies and analytical, biological, laboratory, and ophthalmic devices.
The DECHEMA is a non-profit scientific and technical society with more than 5,500 members, who are scientists, engineers, companies, organizations and institutes. One aim of DECHEMA is to promote and support research and development.
Since its formation in 2010, the Flow Chemistry Society (FCS) has supported the development and advancement of flow chemistry and helped to shape the future of the scientific endeavor by making the latest knowledge widely available through conferences, scientific journals, graduate textbooks and more.
The association has 300 members from about 20 countries. The aim is to support the opening up innovative markets and setting new standards. The members are providers or users of high-tech products and services in need of explanation in the fields of "micro technology", "nanotechnology" and "advanced materials.
The association was founded by dedicated companies, as well as municipalities and organizations in Mecklenburg-Schwerin, and has about 100 members. One goal is the presentation of advantages of the region and attracting potential investors and inhabitants.
The Society of Friends of the Mecklenburg State Theatre Schwerin has been founded in 1991 with the aim to promote the theater and encourage it to preserve the Schwerin theater tradition.
