Microencapsulation in cosmetics

Microencapsulation is defined as the process of surrounding a liquid, a solid or a gas with a membrane. As ingredients in cosmetic products vitamins, vegetal and essential oils, fragrances, UV-filters or pigments are encapsulated to increase stability, preserve and protect them. Microencapsulation technology optimizes the effectiveness of active principles over time.

HNPM pumps of the modular and high performance series, often equipped with heating modules, dose small amounts of gel-like formulations containing these active principles to form micro beads.
